Applying for Membership

Applying is easy. All you have to do is complete a Membership Application and pay the annual dues. Application for membership can be made either online or via mail. Annual memberships are available as follows:

Individual Membership is $119 plus a $10 application fee plus $25 for local membership in the PMI Erie, PA Chapter.

Student Membership is $30 plus a $10 application fee plus $25 for local membership in the PMI Erie, PA Chapter.

Retiree Membership is $60 plus $25 for local membership in the PMI Erie, PA Chapter. To join as a retiree member, you must have been a member of PMI for the last 5 years and retired from full time employment.

To join the Erie, PA Chapter. Just add the Erie, PA Chapter as a "component" to your national membership. The local association offers monthly chapter meetings, educational events and networking activities.

Applying Online

Online application can be made for Individual Membership only, with payment by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Diners Club). For student membership, or corporate billing, or another payment method, see 'Applying via Mail' below. To apply online, you will need a Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher, or Netscape Navigator/Communicator 4.7 or higher web browser. For AOL users, you will need AOL 5.0 or higher. To apply, go to the PMI Membership page at PMI's website. Click on the "Join" box. Fill out the online application and credit card payment information.

Applying via Mail

To apply via mail, get the Membership Application Form one of these ways:

Go to the PMI Membership area and download the Adobe PDF format of the application form.

This will include the Membership Application Form. PMI will mail the packet to you within five business days. Follow the instructions in the application form and mail it to: Project Management Institute Attn: PMI Membership Services Department, Four Campus Boulevard, Newtown Square, PA 19073-3299 USA. For additional information about membership in PMI, call the PMI Customer Service department at (610) 356-4600 (option 8 on the phone menu).
